How exactly does the Affiliate Program work?

When you sign up as an iPlayPokemon Affiliate, you are given a unique Affiliate ID and access to graphics and weblinks. You can email your Affiliate link to your friends and family, post it in your forum signatures around the web or post it on your blog or website. When somebody clicks on your iPlayPokemon Affiliate link and makes a purchase in our online store, you earn a comission! To view our current lineup of graphics and links, click on the Banners link in your Affiliate Control Panel.

How much do I make?

Our current payout is 5% of the total sale. You can also recruit your own affiliates and earn 2% of any sales that they make! Don't forget our initial $2.00 signup bonus... We hope to increase these values in the future though, and will soon offer higher payouts for the "big producers". 

Are you telling me that I can actually make money for doing nothing? How do I get paid? 

Yes! By simply posting your Affiliate link in your signatures, websites and emails, you can generate some nice income. Our current payout schedule is the 1st of every month. There is a minimum payout value set at $20 - since our cash payments are through PayPal, the amount needs to be high enough to justify the small fee that PayPal charges. 

You said something about free cards?

As an alternative to requesting a cash payment, you can also request a store credit for use in our iPlayPokemon online store. As an extra bonus, we will give you an additional 10% of your total cash-out!

Ok, so what are the requirements? 

The only requirements for being an iPlayPokemon Affiliate are the following:

• An active account on iPlayPokemon.com
• The ability to "copy and paste" our codes for the links and graphics
• A love for money and free stuff
• A PayPal account - if you want a cash payout

I'm pretty young, can I become an Affiliate?

We have no age limits or requirements. If you do not have a PayPal account, you will need to use the Store Credit option for your payouts. It may be a good idea to let your parents know what you are doing though, they may start to wonder where you are getting all your free Pokemon cards from...

I'm sold, how do I start?

OK, let's get you started! First step is to log into your iPlayPokemon account. Once logged in, you will find the Trainer Menu in the left hand side of the homepage. Click on the Affiliate Program link and then create your Affiliate Program login. You can use the same username and password as your main website account - you can later "sync" the two accounts together so you only have to log in once. Complete the forms and follow the signup process and in minutes your account will be created!
